We had a fantastic stay her on valentines night - the food was exceptional and reasonably priced -and the service was brilliant. The decor of the restaurant/pub was really really nice too. The rooms although small were clean and comfortable and the cleaning staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will defo be back! Thank you

The room was very clean and comfortable. My suggestion for improvement is to have a bright overhead light as it was a little dim for us. The bathroom was lovely and bright. The breakfast area was nicely decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast offered a good choice and was well priced. Service staff were friendly and polite.

I found the stay brilliant! The room was very small but for the price I paid I was more than happy. I only used the room to lay down and watch some tv before sleeping so the size wasn’t an issue. I think if I had come with my wife it may have been a bit more of an issue but travelling alone for work it’s perfect for my needs at a very fair price. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom which also helps. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great nights sleep! Will definitely use you guys again should I be in the area!

Arrived for a quiet drink on Easter Monday about 2.30pm to a favourite pub/restaurant. Unfortunately, a table of 3 people + a dog spoilt it for everyone there.The animal barked loudly continuously. The staff were put in a helpless position. Children were upset.May I suggest that you have a policy that dogs must be quiet & under control or their owners will be asked to leave to avoid offence to other patrons.Thank you..

We had a fab overnight stay here. We were welcomed by a great team, looked after and all questions answered. Food and drinks were very good and value for money. Not cheap fried pub food. The breakfast was so good and tasty. We stayed in the lounge for a business meeting and were not disturbed. A good stay all round.

Receptionist efficient and polite on arrival. I had two cases to carry up stairs. They were small but not great for disabled and people. I had to ask for help with them. Leaving the next day I struggled getting them down so attention or reception making a note assistance may be needed would have got you a 10. The bed was very comfortable and the shower room albeit small was very clean. Also once in the room there were not mugs or a glass so i had to go down again to get them. The bedroom lightening is bad especially when having to work on laptop and the room is tight in space so does not allow sitting at the chair so i gave up. There was no bath mat either for a shower and a notice on wall to go request one. I was very tired and certainly was not going to have to go down stairs again to ask for one again. Overall for the price is was an ok room. No noise outside or inside that affected my sleep. Just a few details they may want to look at to make the stay improved.

A traditional pub in a pretty location on the Stratford Birmingham Canal. Rooms are small. Food is good. Breakfast service a little slow.

Great pub, great service and greta location. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the location by the canal side is great. Espc in the summer when it's warm, sitting outside with a cold beer or glass of wine. Dog friendly, with treats available for free at the bar. And also suitable for kids. It usually quite quiet here, in the sensenthat there's not much in the area except the pub. But the atmosphere inside is very good, not too busy or quiet on a usual day. The pub is a short 5 minute drive from the local towns of Knowle and Dorridge. Overall, it's suitable for a quiet meeting with friends, a meal or a party. Would highly recommend.
